Introducing Athena Power's 450W 2U (AP-U2ATX45) power supply. Designed for the 2U form factor it provides a compact PSU and delivers flexibility for small industrial computer rackmounts. The EPS-12V 8pin and the additional P4 4+4 pin connector gives full support for core 2 dual processors.  This PSU features an Active PFC (Power Factor Correction) and remote ON/OFF function for high efficiency and reliability. Also included is its internal front and rear 40mm ball-bearing fan and thermal fan speed control for maximum heat and noise dissipation.

Multiple Support Function

Supporting ATX V2.3, EPS-12V Xeon, and i7 motherboards it also includes 2x PCI-E 6-pin connectors for advanced graphics cards running in quad SLI or Crossfire configuration.  This PSU can be used for mini-servers, server assemblies, rackmount servers, and desktops.

Dual Fan

With its dual fan features located at the front and back of the power supply the rear fan intakes the heat that is produced inside the server or system and pushes it through the front fan which is positioned towards the exit points of the server/system which keeps the motherboard and hard drives cool.  This design allows the power supply to be able to take 100% of the heat that is generated by the interior system and pushes it out of the server/system, while some other PSU fans work differently this dual fan design is targeted to maintain a reliable source of power and keeping the system cooled.  Some may second guess this dual fan feature because it will increase noise volumes but with its thermal fan speed control it will detect the amount of heat generated by the computer and spin accordingly.

Smart Auto Fan Speed Controller

With its thermal fan speed control it will detect the amount of heat generated by the computer and spin accordingly.  Using this controller to detect the heat levels of the PSU it will adjust the fan speed accordingly, with this feature built in, worrying about the heat level of a PSU becomes almost non-existent.

Silence is Golden

Athena Computer Power’s designers have designed a low ripple and noise feature that is included within the PSU, taking customer’s needs into consideration for whatever they may be using this 2U PSU for, the electrical ripple and noise has been significantly reduced for a more quiet system.
